This Guy Supports Crime On The Subway LMAO

Jul 15, 2024 · 0:58

Summary

A yellow cab driver shocks Kareem with an outrageous economic theory: he supports subway crime because it's "very good for Yellow Cab drivers." The logic is simple and ruthless. When people get scared of the subway, they take cabs instead. When someone gets pushed onto the tracks, trains stop, passengers come up to street level, and he gets a fare. Crime is up under Mayor Adams, and so are cab fares. It's a golden era from his perspective. Somebody's got to win, somebody's got to lose. Kareem can only respond with disbelief, respectfully disagreeing while acknowledging the hustle.

So what's your take? I support crime on the subway. You support crime on the subway? It's very good for Yellow Cab drivers. People are not taking the subway and they're taking Yellow Cabs. So Mayor Adams is doing a fantastic job. Crime is up and so with cab fares. So coming from a cab's perspective, oh, this is a golden era here in New York City 'cause you're lying in your freaking pockets. Yes! Why not? Somebody's got to make money. If you're going to commit a crime, come into the subway, our benefit. You'll get publicity. Whoever that, you're pushing people on the subway you don't know, pushing people on the subway. No, but you know how I benefit from that? The trains have stopped, passengers are coming up and I get a fare. That's insane. It's a win-win. Maybe not for the guy that got pushed onto the subway, but you know what? This is New York. Somebody's got to win. Somebody's got to lose.

Oh, this is crazy. I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. But I'm glad you're getting the bag. Oh, yeah.
